Rev. Rick J Fritzemeier faithfully served as a staff member and executive leader for 42 years with CRU (1981-1989), Youth for Christ Central Valley (1989-2020), Youth for Christ USA (2014-2020) and now, both Youth for Christ San Joaquin Valley (2020 – present) and Youth for Christ Fresno Madera (2021-2024).
While his responsibilities covered a wide array, some of his greatest success and fulfillment came through development, and training and coaching others in Biblical based development strategies, fundamentals, and skills.
Through a God planned journey Rick formed Multiply 417 in July of 2020, believing it to be the match for his passion, and calling, while encompassing necessary vocational components.
In creating the mission statement, Rick wanted Multiply 417 to be an expression first and foremost of his passion and therefore reads: Multiply 417 exists to offer Biblically sound and highly relational fundraising and resource development principles, strategies, and tools through coaching, training, and consulting. Focused on faith-based non-profit organizations helping them create fiscal stability, effective long-term growth, and Christ honoring engagement with their partners/givers/donors.
He holds certifications in training, virtual training, digital giving optimization, fundraising strategies, fundraising accountability, and curriculum design from organizations like the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and will complete his CFRE this fall (2024) with the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
Rick is an All-American from Fresno State in Track and Field. He has been married to his sweetheart, Dr. Marian Fritzemeier (also an accomplished trainer), since 1978 with two daughters Kristen (Jeremy) and Michelle (Kory) and the three most beautiful grandchildren in the world, Parker 16, Khloe 14, and Kylie 12.
Do not argue with him about his grandkids being the best ones ever or the Dodgers being the best baseball team ever. It will serve no purpose and you would be wrong.
