Marina Serrano

Since November 2022, Marina has been serving as the leader of the Juvenile Justice Ministry, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep passion for guiding young people toward hope and transformation. With an Associate’s Degree in Psychology, a Substance Abuse Certificate, and a Mental Health Specialist Certificate, Marina’s background in substance abuse counseling and mental health equips her to lead our Substance Abuse and Emotional Management groups with wisdom and compassion.

Marina’s greatest strength lies in her ability to create a safe, welcoming space where youth can share their stories and experience the love of Christ. Having overcome a past marked by addiction, poverty, abuse, and neglect, she intimately understands the struggles many young people face today. Through God’s grace, her story has been rewritten, and she now dedicates her life to being a vessel of hope.

Her mission extends beyond the walls of the facility—she is committed to making an impact in detention halls, on the streets, in churches, and in homes. Marina firmly believes she is here today because she chose to follow Jesus Christ, and she is devoted to walking alongside youth as they discover healing, purpose, and a new path in Him.
